what lehman told our interface person is “an earlier candidate is more IN-DEPTH”.
“we were looking for someone strong in java and database.”
“we r looking for a really hands-on coder who will do the nitty gritty. u were more theoretical.”
“u would be good as a permanent staff who will grow with the company, but unfortunately we are now getting a consultant.”
I think a “consultant” is a ground-level, hands-on, almost mindless coder, whereas an employee need more thinking, more theoretical…
Q: did i answer some questions with insufficient focus. Maybe u were expecting a short, direct answer?
