Don't believe websites or “experienced” people telling you NY stay is expensive, because they don't know Chinatown hotels.

 

I just checked into US Pacific Hotel (http://www.uspacifichotel.com), one of many Manhattan Chinatown hotels — clean, warm….

 

For a private room with a twin-bed, i only pay $74/night. Most manhattan hotels charge more than $150/night for a private room. Somehow, Chinatown prices are way lower. Haircut in Chinatown costs $6 – $10, but at least $40 outside of Chinatown.
