A) participate in new projects, discussions with external ( => using high-level terms), feasibility discussions (=> high-level terms)
B) prod support, answering questions, mostly low-level.
A examples: GDR, TPS elimination, mtg, sim

B is typical of a consultant’s job. A is usually not open to consultants. Consultants receive the information after those discussions.

I’m more of a low-level person. i like to read the code to build my nlg bottom up. Many (all?) managers learnt the system top-down.
