2 routes to mastery of the system

I remember sister and i both mastered English eventually but through different routes. Obviously both consultants and managers eventually came to a good understanding of the system, but by different routes.

– I guess the consultants learnt the system bottom up, due to support duties. High-level nlg grows organically, like when supporting users via emails/calls.
– I guess the managers learnt it faster, by meetings… I think this is a privilege reserved for senior employees.
