Sugg: designate some stress-concentration days (in the same spirit as an austerity week) so as to create stress-light days. Though prolonged stress is harmful, we often have very high tolerance for short burst of stress. Don’t know our limits.
For prolonged or brief periods, one person’s “heavy load” may be much lighter than another person’s stress-light level. It’s tempting to conclude “Look at Yang, or .. Have kids, side projects, building a house, running a side business, taking a course but still coping well.”
Those in leadership tend to have more on their plate. Leaders include every parent.
